Blueberry Times

Sometimes I sleep in and if I don’t have enough time for breakfast I’ll grab a handful of blueberries and they give me that boost I need to start my day.

Summer is almost over so that means blueberry season will soon be gone.  Get your hands on these little superfoods before it’s too late!

They contain the most antioxidants of all fresh fruit and improve brain function by improving memory.

Try this recipe for some Blueberry chocolate fun!

Chocolate Coconut Pudding

1 banana
1 cup of blueberries
1 heaping tablespoon of almond or peanut butter
2 tablespoons of cacao powder (add more if you prefer darker)
1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of dried coconut
1 tablespoon of raw honey (optional)

Mush the ingredients together and voila!  A healthy, feel good, energizing dessert!
