Smooth Sunday

I drink a smoothie almost everyday so I’m going to start a new day on Sunday’s, starting today, where I share my smoothie recipes.   Many health practitioners and guru’s recommend to fast from food at least one day a week.  You rest from work for the weekend,  so you might as well give your body and digestive system some rest as well. Sunday is usually an easy and relaxing day for many people where you won’t be burning as much fuel so this might be a good day to choose to juice/ make smoothies.

Vanilla BSB 
(the BSB stands for Banana Strawberry Blueberry, not Backstreetboys but this smoothie will help you get down, get down and move it all around!)

Serves 1-2
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 cup of Blueberries
4 Strawberries
1 tsp of Vanilla
1/2 cup of Almonds
2 tbsp of Chia seeds
1/2 cup of Organic yogurt or Coconut yogurt
1/2 cup of Spinach
1 cup of Water
Ice (optional)
